MAC Cosmetics Coming to 500+ Sephora Stores in Early 2026

MAC Cosmetics is preparing for a major expansion in the U.S. with its official launch at Sephora beginning in early 2026. The rollout will place the brand in more than 500 Sephora locations nationwide, along with full online availability at Sephora and select Sephora at Kohl’s stores. This will be MAC’s first major U.S. launch inside Sephora, expanding on partnerships already established in Canada and Europe.

In May 2025, Nicola Formichetti was appointed Global Creative Director, bringing a renewed focus to the artistic marketing that originally helped define the brand. In September, Doja Cat became MAC’s newest Global Ambassador and generated major attention with new campaigns, including her headline-making lipstick stunt at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Shortly after, Kris Jenner became one of the faces of MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid foundation. Her appearance in the “I Only Wear MAC” campaign quickly became one of the most viral moments of the brand’s recent lineup. MAC has also seen strong momentum on TikTok, with several products trending in top-searched categories and the brand debuting on TikTok Shop in July 2025.

Estée Lauder Companies shared that the Sephora launch is part of a larger strategy to reach younger shoppers and expand MAC’s visibility in the U.S. market. “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with MAC, giving all Sephora U.S. shoppers access to one of the most iconic brands in beauty,” said Carolyn Bojanowski, EVP Merchandising at Sephora U.S. “MAC’s longstanding commitment to innovation, creativity and self-expression mirrors our mission and delivers an exciting evolution of artistry offerings for our customers.
